If you’d have asked me this morning what I thought was the cutest cat video on the internet, I would have said the sleepy kitten video we posted on the Cat Health Blog on New Year’s Day.  However, thanks to your feedback and submissions, I have changed my mind and declare this new entry to be the cutest cat video in our ever-growing Best Cat Videos collection!

I shall call it simply Suprised Kitty, ater the Youtube video name – it is the perfect description really!  You have to see it:

Now is that not one of the most adorable things you’ve ever seen? If this was my cat I’d sell my car to afford the best cat insurance in the universe to protect this bundle of fur!

Hello and Happy New Year from the Cat Health Blog!

As part of our New Year festivities, we have introduced a Best Cat Videos competiton to the blog!  This means you can submit your findings for various categories of cat video, including cutest, smartest and funniest. We’ll put our favourite ones up here on the blog, as well as some of our own findings as well.  Who knows, perhaps we’ll even have a prize for the winners – cat insurance for the whole of 2010 or something!

It’s a shame it’s not a bit longer!  I was secretly hoping for it to fall over asleep – that would cement it as the cutest out there!  If you think you’ve found something cuter, send it in!  Also send in any other cat videos you think are worth a show!

By the way, if you are thinking of sticking your finger in your cat’s mouth, do wash your hands first! Our fingers, especially the area underneath our fingernails, are home to huge amounts of potentially harmful bacteria. This is especially important to remember when playing with kittens, so be aware and make sure you get some cat insurance just in case!
